Monster Jam Roars into Golden One Center

Don't Miss the Fun

We took the kids to Monster Jam for opening night at Golden One Center. It was the first time for all of us. I have to admit, I had never even watched Monster Jam on TV before, but Mr Macaroni was very excited to be going. Even before we got tickets, my grandfather kept telling me we needed to take the kids, so I figured there must be something to this Monster Jam thing.

When I told the kids we were going, my son was very excited, but my daughter not so much. Once the show started though, both of the kids got into it. With huge trucks racing, spinning and flipping around, what's not to like? It won me over, too! They put on a great show.

The kids each ended up having a favorite (Scooby-Do and Grave Digger), so of course when we saw the souvenirs, we had to pick up a couple before we left. The kids talked about it all the way home, and Mr Macaroni chimed right in!

As you can imagine, the noise level is pretty intense. Golden Ones acoustics are great, but if the noise is holding you back, just grab some ear plugs, because this is a show you don't want to miss.

The show runs through Sunday, and there are tickets still available. After the show you can head down to meet the drivers and get autographs. It's an experience the kids will be talking about for a long time.

If you haven't been the Golden One Center before, and are worried about parking, you can even reserve and pay for your parking online. We've been down there several times now, and have been pleasantly surprised by how easy it is to find your parking spot, and after the show, get out of there.
