Kids’ Table Activity: Turkey Popcorn Ball

By Diane Sullivan November 26, 2019
Put the kids’ table to work while you’re waiting for dinner to be served with this foodie craft that’s as fun to create as it is to eat!

Assemble baggies of ingredients for each Turkey Popcorn Ball or place bowls of goodies on the table for everyone to assemble their own.

Here’s a list of possible ingredients. Feel free to substitute what you have on hand!
Body: Popcorn ball
Head: Lollipop or cookie
Eyes: Smarties or any round candy (We added a little tiny piece of chocolate for the eyeballs.)
Beak: Candy Corn or another round candy
Gizzard: Any red candy (We used Starburst.)
Feet: Two regular sized M&Ms stuck on with Starburst
Feathers: Swedish Fish in different colors
Hat: Hershey Bar cut into shape

Assembly is easy! Simply press candies into place for each feature. Toothpicks may be used to secure some of the pieces if needed. Display during dinner and then enjoy the treats for desert!

Happy Thanksgiving!
