Steve Wallen Swim School is riding the expansion wave, building a new, state-of-the-art indoor swim school in Roseville, slated to open in summer 2018.
Since opening their doors in El Dorado Hills in 2008, Steve Wallen and his son Kaleb have ate, slept, and breathed swim lessons, and they wouldn’t have it any other way. “Steve Wallen Swim School is where we want to be,” exclaimed Steve. “I think the personal touch of us being there every day, talking with the kids, answering questions for the parents, is what sets us apart.” Steve and Kaleb have always dreamed of opening another facility, but never wanted to stretch themselves too thin. “Our priority is and has always been providing high-quality swim lessons to our students, so it was really important to us that we made sure we could provide the same level of instruction at two locations,” said Kaleb.
To ensure the quality of their lessons and better serve their students, Steve and Kaleb made the decision to bring on a partner in the Roseville location: their employee of over 10 years, Mel Amatulli, and her husband Dennis. “Mel has worked with us since we opened our doors in El Dorado Hills. When we were playing with the idea of bringing on a partner, we knew if Mel was in, we were in. She shares our passion for teaching kids to swim, and understands the business better than anyone. She will be a great asset to our team and we could not be more thrilled to have her on board,” said Kaleb.
Steve Wallen Swim School’s new Roseville facility is located at 10608 Industrial Ave, Suite 150, Roseville, CA 95678, near Top Golf. This new location will be a 7,100 sq feet state-of-the-art indoor year-round swim facility complete with an oversized heated swimming pool.
For over 40 years, Steve Wallen Swim School has been teaching swim lessons and water safety for infants, kids, and adults of all skill levels. From first-time students to competitive swimmers, this experience allows them to tailor their programs to meet the specific needs of each individual student. Private or small group swim lessons provide the opportunity for one-on-one attention with highly trained swim instructors so each student receives personal attention and maximum benefit.
Steve and Kaleb are thrilled to be expanding their business in order to serve the families of Roseville, Rocklin, Loomis, Lincoln, Granite Bay, Orangevale, Sacramento, and surrounding Placer and Sacramento County areas, and to be brining on a new partner in Mel.
