Simple Spider Web Craft

Perfect for Halloween

By Aimee Falso, Newport/Bristol Publisher Mom October 27, 2018

A simple craft to make which will compliment any story with a spooky spider!

Supplies

  • Paper plate (thicker is better!)
  • Yarn
  • Scissors
  • Picture or drawing of spider

Directions

  1. Cut 6-8 notches in paper plate (the more notches, the more challenging the project).
  2. Poke a hole in the center of the plate.
  3. Thread yarn through hole and knot it to keep in place (you can also use tape).
  4. Begin weaving yarn from notch to notch to create your web.
  5. Tie loose end to web on back of plate.
  6. Color, cut out and glue spider to plate or web.
