A Magical Night at Disney on Ice

Disney on Ice Celebrates 100 Years of Magic
Golden 1 Center

We've been going to Disney on Ice for a few years now, and it never ceases to amaze me how amazing the shows are. Tonight was no exception, and in fact it was a magical night for a group of families (ours included) because we were invited to a special meet and greet before the show. The kids got to decorate Mickey Mouse cookies, do some coloring (Disney themed pages), and meet with Minnie and Mickey! Besides watching how much fun the kids were having, it was fun for me because I was able to meet up with fellow Macaroni Kid publishers, and local bloggers I've come to know.

If you have never been to a Disney on Ice show before, I highly recommend it. It's non-stop entertainment. They have an wonderful cast, and I always marvel at how they can skate so beautifully in the amazing costumes they wear. We followed Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Goofy through their adventure which included so many favorite Disney characters.

The first half, before intermission, included Dory, Beauty and the Beast, a slew of Disney princess who each skated with their princes, and Frozen (the longest of the performances). During Frozen I could hear people singing along to the songs! After intermission, we were treated with Aladdin, Toy Story, Mulan, and the Lion King. At the end the entire cast came out to do a final number.

Getting to and from Golden 1 is such a breeze. I love the new location. Usually I buy my parking online ahead of time, but this time I forgot and was a little worried about finding parking without prepaying, but the worrying was for nothing because it was still super simple to get parking. I love that you can get in and out of downtown so fast.

Tickets are still available, so don't miss out! Get your tickets today and make some memories your kids will cherish!
