Find Your Friends: Free Printable Playdate Cards to Help You Connect

These "baby business cards" can help your kids -- and you! -- make new friends

By Francesca Walker, Publisher of Macaroni Kid North East Miami and Miami Beach September 3, 2019

Did your child connect in a great way with another tot on the playground whom you've never seen before? Did your son come home from school asking for a playdate with a new friend whose parents you don't have the contact information for? Did you have a great conversation with a mom (you know, the one who also has coffee stains on her shirt) at the playground ... and you'd really like to hang out with her again?

It can be awkward to make new friends -- no matter how old you are! So to help us all overcome our natural shyness, we've created these printable playdate cards. These are designed to be handed out to facilitate new friendships and connections. After all, playdates are a great way to help our kids grow socially, intellectually, and physically ... and a great way for you to find some new (and coffee-stained!) friends.

Follow these easy steps to create your own playdate cards:

  1. Download the file here.
  2. Print it on cardstock.
  3. Customize the cards with your contact info and cut them out.
  4. Keep them on hand to pass along to parents and children your family wants to connect with!
