Bird's Nest Treats

Perfect for Easter!

By Sara McGill April 19, 2019

So cute! So easy!

Here's what you need:

  • One bag of butterscotch morsels
  • One cup of peanut butter or sunbutter
  • About three cups of chow mein noodles (they are crunchy, dry and found in the ethnic food aisle of most grocery stores)
  • Jelly beans or other small egg-shaped candies
  • Wax paper

Put morsels and peanut butter in a glass bowl. Microwave in one minute increments, mixing a little each time until smooth.

Add chow mein noodles to mixture and fold in until completely covered.

Spoon mixture onto wax paper and mold into several small bird nests. Be sure to make a groove in the middle for egg candy. Place candies in center of nests. Allow treats to set for a few hours or place them in the refrigerator for about 45 minutes.

Makes about two dozen.
