St. Patty's Rainbow Treasure Treats

By Shayna Mills, NE Dallas Macaroni Kid Publisher March 14, 2019

I love any reason to craft with my Macaroni Kid.  A holiday, a friend's birthday, or just because.  But I don't always have my act together and am able to go all out for special occasions like I may want to.  And with St Patrick's Day basically here, I needed a simple and budget friendly idea that she and I could do together quickly so that we could still have time to deliver our goodies to friends and family.

These would be perfect to make and take to your child's classroom for some St. Patrick's Day party fun.

Items Need

Bags ( Can use cellophane or sandwich bags, which is what I used because it's what I had on hand, I'm cheap frugal like that)

Rainbow Twizzlers

Gold Coins or Rolos

Ribbon or Pipe Cleaners

Assemble

Take a color of each twizzler, and bend and stack together to form a rainbow in the baggie.

Place a handful of gold coins or Rolos in the middle.

Tie with ribbon or pipe cleaners

Add a tag, if desired

Deliver to friends, family, or enjoy one for yourself!
