Rudolph Ornaments

By Ann Becker December 9, 2020

These easy Reindeer Ornaments are great for kids ranging from ages 3 to 8. You will have a great time making these ... adding googly eyes to anything makes it much more fun!

What You Need (per child):

  • 1 Mini Clay Pot
  • Brown Acrylic Paint
  • Foam Brush
  • 2 Googley Eyes
  • 1 Red Pom-pom
  • 1 Brown Chenille Stick (pipe cleaner)
  • Glue
  • String
  • Tape

What You Do:

  1. Let the kids paint the clay pots brown with the foam brush; let dry.
  2. Twist up the chenille stick until it looks like antlers and tape to the bottom opening of the clay pot.
  3. Add string for hanging (if you're making an ornament) and let the kids glue on the googly eyes (best part) and red nose.
  4. Done! Now it's time to sing "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer" and hang him on the tree, or simply use to decorate your fireplace mantel or shelf!
