Quarry Park Adventures and ST Productions, producer of outdoor concerts at Rocklin’s Quarry Park Amphitheatre, are proud to announce a joint event on Sept. 5th – Rocking the Quarry. The event will feature a full day of performances on two stages by favorite classic rock cover bands from 1:30 p.m. until 11:00 p.m., doors open at Noon. Tickets for the shows start at $25, and $150 for VIP. For $25 you can add a one-hour activity pass at Quarry Park Adventures, which includes access to fun zip lining, rappelling, rock climbing, and free falling. A portion of profits from both organizations’ tickets will be donated to the U.C. Davis Burn Institute. Tickets are available here.
Quarry Park Adventures has been a popular destination for guests over the past year after health officials deemed outdoor attractions as safer options for entertainment. Quarry Park Adventures has been discovered by many new guests this past year, not just for individual adventure, but as a place to reconnect safely with groups of family, friends, and coworkers after necessary social distancing kept many from enjoying one another’s company. The overall Quarry District has been hopping all day and night this summer with ST Productions hosting five outdoor concerts so far this year at Quarry Park Amphitheatre, most of which have sold out.
“We love to give back to the community and felt this was a great way to leverage the entire Quarry District’s offerings for a good cause,” explained Katey Little, Sales and Marketing Manager for Quarry Park Adventures.
“The U.C. Davis Burn Institute is such an asset for our community. This cause was near and dear to our hearts, so it was top of mind when we reflected on what charitable partner we’d like to support with this new event,” added Todd Speelman, owner of ST Productions.
Whether it is a family reunion, coworker bonding or birthday party, Quarry Park Adventures has become a popular place to reconnect during COVID. Guests found it was a safer option outdoors, which allowed them to still enjoy some traditions like birthday parties or other private gatherings in an open-air space.
