Young Einsteins Science and Engineering Camp:
-Week 1: June 13th-17th $225
-Week 2: June 21-24th $205 *Closed for Juneteenth on June 20th
All kids should come join us for two weeks of building, creating, exploring, inventing, and experimenting! Campers will have an opportunity to understand physics by building a Rube Goldberg Machine in the Makerspace; get creative with Salt Crystal Painting; learn about force and motion while making a marshmallow shooter; study biology while designing a bug habit and making a greenhouse. During the afternoons younger students will build a town (called Eagle County–since we are the CIS Eagles). They will spend their time constructing their town out of large cardboard boxes and wood, and older students will spend time learning to code. All students will have time to shop in the city with Eagle Dollars they have earned during the camp session at the end of the camp’s second week session! A science presentation is included one day after camp (between 4-6 pm) with a two-week sign-up. An extra fee is required for attendance for those who signed up for Week 1 only.
Astro Camp:
-Week 1: June 27th-July 1st $225
-Week 2: July 5th-8th $205 *Closed 4th of July
Fun is the only word for this camp! Campers will learn about the solar system, build a life-sized space shuttle, create a sensory space station, participate in a spaced-themed escape room, and take a trip to the planetarium! To top it all off……..Space Camp will end week 2 with an overnight campout where many “space-themed” games will be played and students will engage in star gazing!**Overnight campout on Friday night is included with a two-week sign-up. An extra fee is required for attendance for those who signed up for Week 1 only.
World Culture Camp:
-Week 1: July 11th-15th $225
-Week 2: July 18th-22 $225
What an interesting time this will be here at camp! We will take a trip around the globe. Students will learn all about cultural traditions, create cultural art, learn and play cultural children’s games, recreate the world map, and hear from special guest speakers. Students will also attend a culture-related field trip…. and so much more! Week 2 will end with a museum of children’s art and a tasting of foods from around the world. **Multicultural meal and activities on Friday from 4:00-6:00 are included with a two-week sign-up. An extra fee is required for attendance for those who signed up for Week 1 only.
Academy of Arts Camp:
-Week 1: July 25th-29th $225
-Week 2: August 1st-5th $225
It’s our last session here at camp, and everyone will have so much fun all day long!! Campers will be indulged with fine arts of all kinds. They will have the opportunity to enjoy a relaxing “Paint-Night”-- complete with canvas painting, appetizers, and sparkling cider. Campers will dance, sing, play instruments, participate in arts and crafts and learn about puppetry. We will be partnering with some local music and dance companies to bring some quality instruction and fun! The camp will end with a performance and an art show where all the work will be showcased. **Paint-Day appetizer evening on Friday evening is included with a two-week sign-up. An extra fee is required for attendance for those who signed up for Week 1 only.
