From Rock Band Camp to Rock City World Tour to Glee Club, Bach to Rock camps serve kids who want to sing, play instruments, learn about music from other cultures, and more. For kids interested in music production–related skills, they also offer camps for Beat Making and Recording Arts. They even have a Record a Studio Demo workshop camp for pre-established bands to build their brand, improve their sound and record their songs in the school’s professional recording studio. ROCK BAND(ages 8+ | 3.5 hrs/day): Students are divided into similar age groups and they get to try out a variety of different instruments of their choice. Throughout the week they learn to play as an ensemble through teamwork building activities and by the end of camp, they are ready to perform 2-3 songs as a group. In addition, the kids get to create a band name, design a band logo, decorate a band t-shirt and draw posters to promote their band’s stage performance.
ROCK CITY WORLD TOUR(ages 5-7 | 2.5 hrs/day): Students get to try out a variety of instruments from around the world, participate in drum circles, and more, while being introduced to music fundamentals. They also learn a variety of songs from various cultures through music and movement activities and perform for family and friends at the end of the week.
GLEE CLUB(ages 6+ | 3.5 hrs): Students learn important basic skills about music and singing. The participants are introduced to healthy vocal techniques and warm-up exercises, reading music, and group singing. Additionally, they practice intonation, listening, and rhythm while learning 2-3 songs to be performed as a group.
RECORDING ARTS(ages 12+ | 2.5 hrs): Students learn to use Pro Tools software for recording and producing music. They get hands-on experience with industry-standard recording equipment and are taught both mixing board and live room recording. In addition to audio effects and recording techniques, they complete their training with an official recording session of a Bach to Rock band.
BEAT MAKING(ages 9-11 & 11+ | 3.5 hrs): Students learn the basics of creating Hip-Hop, EDM, and Trap music by using loops, sampling, and sequencing techniques. They complete their training with an official demo creation and class presentation.
