Recently, one of the publishers in the Bay area, Jennifer (Fremont and Palo Alto MacKid sites), put together a get together for Bay Area and surrounding area publishers to get together, share ideas and have some fun. I gotta tell you, I had so much fun, I just have to share it with you! This would be such a fun trip to do with your gal pals.
Our day trip was to Alameda, which if you have never been, is located right on the bay. Great location, right? The bay is beautiful. We were lucky because the weather was great that day.
As we drove through town to arrive at our destination, I spied all kinds of cool shops that I really want to go back to check out (we were pushed for time because we had reservations, so I didn’t get a chance to check them out this trip). It was the kind of street with all kinds of cool, eclectic shops, where you can find some of the best stuff that you never knew you needed. There were also streets lined with beautiful victorian houses.
Our first stop was Pinot’s Palette located in the South Shore Center. If you have never done one of the paint & wine type things, I highly recommend it! So much fun. We had nine in our group, plus there was another group, so there's plenty of space for a gang. The class is priced separate from the beverages, so you can choose to indulge, or not (they also had water). Some of the women I was with brought snacks, and there was no problem with that (but you cannot bring outside beverages).
