Volunteering, Fundraising, and Community Involvement for Kids in Roseville, Rocklin, & Lincoln and surrounding areas
Teaching kids to give back to the community is very important. It helps instill in them the idea that we are all connected, part of a community, and that we all look out for one another. It teaches them kindness, it makes them appreciate what they have, and it helps them learn the joy that comes with giving.
There are a lot of organizations where kids can learn these things. Girl & Boys Scouts are organizations that can help with this. These organizations also help build their confidence as they learn new skills. They don't have to belong an organized group to give back, though. There are many non-profits out there looking for people to help volunteer. Kids can also learn important skills, such as compassion and responsibility, working with animals There are many opportunities out there for kids to get involved!
We've compiled some lists of groups and organizations that kids can get involved with. I'm sure there are more. Please send me an email if you know of any that are not on our list.
