What to Do With All of the Halloween Candy
Halloween night, after the kids went to bed, I would gather all the candy together, then sort it based on "type". I could then hand it out a little at a time. They always get so much candy, we used to throw a bunch of it away (when the kids weren't looking, and after I got the ones I wanted). Now that we know about the Switch Witch, it makes it easier, because there's no more "sneaking" their candy to get rid of it. The kids willingly give up candy to get a special non-candy treat.

Besides the Switch Witch, many dentists' offices "buy back" candy after Halloween. In the past, the following dentists have had a buy-back program: Kids Care Dental, A+ Dental, Rockville Smiles, Roseville Kids Dentist and Smile Gallery in Roseville; Little Fish Dental, Rocklin Pediatric Dentistry, Smile Island, Heritage Oak Dental, and Rocklin Kids Dental in Rocklin; Children's Choice in Lincoln, and Make a Smile Dental in Rocklin & Lincoln.
